This is a Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) ten dollar banknote from the year 1983. It is a circulated banknote that has been worn over time. The banknote is ungraded and uncertified. It features a portrait of HSBC founder Sir Thomas Sutherland on the front, while the back displays a view of the HSBC building in Hong Kong. This banknote is a piece of history that captures the culture and economy of Hong Kong in the early 1980s. This could be added to any collection of world paper money.

There's wear noted on this banknote, including such things as creases, marks, ripples, holes, spots, stains, folds, and a couple small tears. One pic attached under UV lighting (the room wasn't that dark so I wasn't able to capture that good of UV quality). Please closely examine the attached pics prior to making a commitment to buy this item. Thanks.

Note: I plan to ship this item in one business day. In other words, I plan to ship before midnight of the following business day after the payment is received. This listing reflects a handling time of 3 business days since eBay Standard Envelopes can't be scanned by the Post Office but only by a sorting machine(s) en route (which is sporadic & can take longer than 1 business day to be scanned).

Additional Notes: This will be shipped via USPS at the cheapest & slowest shipment ("eBay Standard Envelope") so it may take longer than a normal package to be delivered. There's minimal tracking; mainly only when/if it's scanned upon going through a sort/meter machine.

Prior to committing to buy this item: please review this listing, refer to the return policy in this listing, closely examine the attached pics, and contact me via eBay Messages with any inquiries. Thanks.
