Hard to display but I put on my hip and it was about 45” and the belt was tied with a 5-6 inch cord drop and about 5 inches from the knot to the gold tone metal section.

The gold sections are 8” each.

Of course, this could go around a waist, but I do believe it is designed to drop down lower on the hip .

The last two pictures with a measuring tape show a 38 inch interior space, with an approximate 4 inches on both sides of the knot, and about a 6 inch drop on the ties.
