neo-expressionist painting of a dinosaur, said to resemble Pez candy dispensers, completed in1984

ARTIST’S HISTORY:

Jean-Michel Basquiat was a well known pop artist part of the neo-expressionism movement. He is known for his unique style using mixed mediums in his drawings and paintings.

CONDITION:

Cardboard is in good condition, there are some drops of paint on the front and back, nothing major. There are some tears made out of the cardboard, other than that in good condition.

This item was acquired as you see it and did not include any  provenance of the previous owner.  The item is sold as a tribute piece, and homage piece, or as in the manner or school of the artist.  Most of the items I have collected have come from second hand stores and antique places over the last 25 or so years.
