This is one real beautiful genuine vintage mink stole/wrap. It belonged to my mother and my dad had it made custom for her sometime in the 1920s in Cincinnati, Ohio. It is absolutely gorgeous, and her initials remain inside it as you can see in a couple of the pics. I was told by a fur expert that I should leave the initials in it as many folks like the original initials to remain in their vintage furs. It has the slits on the left side (as you are wearing it, to put the other side thru to secure it on you. The one little hole on the left shoulder remains from when my dad had it made for her and I don't know the story behind the hole, but I remember my mom having told me once, that it was important and left there for a reason when the stole was made for her. Unfortunately, now with both my parents gone, I have lost the reason. Hopefully that little hole will not bother someone as it is in fact part of the history and lore of this stunning beautiful piece. I no longer live up North and don't get cold enough to ever wear it here in the South, so figure it's time to part with it so someone else can actually enjoy and get some use out of it. It is substantial in weight and will not be cheap to ship it and it will come with USPS insurance too.
