4741-18R442D11 I offer you this rare engraving of the parable of the barren fig tree from the Arabic gospels of 1591. I am presenting on ebay several plates of this print and not all the laid linen papers carry a watermark, those which do give us a crown with three and two half florets surmounted by two triangles (Italian paper). Although some major Museums have the work, the isolated sheets are extremely rare and will be a great curiosity for collections and exhibitions. The sheet measures 20.7 cm x 14.5 cm, the engraving alone 12.4 cm by 10.2 cm. Apart from the engraving, we will note the presence of some old wormholes (which explains why the engravings were isolated).
