This lot will be auctioned via Classic Car Auctions, The Classic and Performance Car Spectacular Sale 2024 on Saturday the 1st of June. , Entering production in 1961, the new TR4 was a wonderful mix of British brawn and Italian style,The torquey four-cylinder, twin-carb TR3 engine was enlarged to 2,138cc and mated to an all-synchro 4-speed gearbox ,The accompanying Heritage Certificate confirms this TR4 was a right-hand drive export to Gothenburg, Sweden in May 1962,Originally finished in black with red interior trim, as it is today. Resprayed in the early 2000s, and retaining its original interior. A new black soft top and an original full tonneau cover are included in the sale,Options from new included overdrive, sun visor, a heater and wire wheels. Fitted with new MWS chrome wire wheels,The engine was rebuilt around five years ago in Sweden and then imported to the UK in January 2022 by the previous owner,Running and driving very well, the TR4 was serviced in 2023 and comes with new rear springs ready to be fitted.
