Beautiful hand painted pastoral scene decorated cup and saucer.
Made in the 19th Century, in England.
Not visibly marked but guaranteed to be early and original (bases photographed).
There is an old crack to the wall of the cup and some gilt wear and darkening to the glaze, commensurate with age. Otherwise, it is in very good condition, with no other chips, cracks or restoration.
The cup measures approximately 2⅜" in height by 3⅝" in diameter across the top rim and the saucer measures 5¾" in diameter.
