Smoke box door casting in cast iron, Bonds number M14  could be machined to smaller size

these  castings came from Bond's O Euston Road , they closed their model engineering dept in about 1973, these are the last chance to get Bonds castings, this is good quility cast iron machines well

bought with lots of larger scale wheels up to 5 inch scale by the 2 1/2 inch gauge Association ,  ,

we have lots ,if you want more let me know , this is your last chance to get a bit of history

these are cast iron /malleable iron and will clean up , soak in citric acid solution and brush off the rust 

 TO AVOID CONFUSION THE CASTING FRONT IS 5 3/4 O/D INCH AND THE SEALING RING ON THE BACK IS 5 3/8INCH O/D AND 4 1/4INCH I/D AND 1/8 INCH THICK THE WHOLE CASTING IS 1/2 INCH THICK NOT COUNTING THE BOSS FRONT AND BACK

may suit many 5 inch gauge locos or traction engines
