Rare and highly enjoyable puzzle featuring some great whimsy pieces including the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge, a New York Taxi, a Baseball Player, a Police badge which comprises of six pieces with the initials NYPD inserted in it, a Theatre mask and capital NY initials.

High quality Wooden Jigsaw Puzzle from Wentworth. It is cut in the classic Victorian style, in which every piece is a different shape and selected pieces are cut in shapes that may reflect the image. These "whimsies" were so called because Victorian puzzle cutters included the shapes on a whim, and the Wentworth Wooden Jigsaw Company has maintained this tradition.
