These are obviously an Antique item and show some age with the metal blades and the minor imperfections in the black painted handles.  The pictures show this.   My wife picked them up at an estate sale from one of my rich neighbors.  They are wicked sharp and could be used today on garments.  The blades are tight- meaning there is no warping or gaps when making it's cut.  I had to try it out on a manila envelope to see, and the things are AMAZING.  I would definitely be careful with them.  If you get a finger or some skin in the line of the cut, you will slice right through it like butter!

I see several others online for less than what I'll offer.  If you want something that doesn't work as well or looks beat up, go with those to save a few dollars.
