What is the quality of the wire? Is there a shield?

Yes, there is a metal shield. This product uses advanced EMI shielding conductive polymer, new materials for EMI shielding, flat cable design. This technology allows each cable to be completely covered by the electromagnetic interference shielding of conductive polymer to prevent the incidence or emission of electromagnetic frequencies, minimize interference and performance degradation, and reduce the weight of the cable.

Is the wire soft? Can it be bent?

The cable is the fourth-generation PCIe dedicated cable developed and designed by ADT. The black cable has a thickness of 1.3mm, the silver cable has a thickness of 1.4mm, and the blue cable has a thickness of 0.85mm. The cable can be bent or folded without affecting the use.

Do you need an external power supply?

The power supply circuit of our products is well designed, and the extension cord does not require an additional external power supply.

The sound card or network card is blocked by the graphics card. How to choose the model of the extension cable?

The sound card extension cable usually chooses R11SL-TL (closed socket, double right angle)-5cm. If your card is far away from the motherboard, please measure the distance by yourself and select the appropriate cable length.

The mini/micro ATX motherboard is relatively small. If the distance between the graphics card and the sound card is too close, the graphics card fan is blocked by the sound card, resulting in poor heat dissipation. The chip temperature is too high and the 3D performance of the graphics card is unstable. The sound card is also affected by the electromagnetic interference of the graphics card fan, causing high-frequency sound breaking or current noise at the bottom of the noise.

Using the sound card extension cable model R11SL-TL 5cm, you can move the sound card 3 slots to the left, so that the sound card is far away from the graphics card, which solves the problem of mutual interference.

If the PCIe x1 slot is blocked by the graphics card and is located under the graphics card, how much space does the extension cable need to install?

The exposed height of the model R11SL-TL after being inserted into the slot at a double right angle is about 6mm as shown in the figure below:

As shown in the picture above, the exposed height of the extension cord is 6mm, please measure whether the height of the space is applicable.

What is the difference between connector opening and closing?

The closed-end type is more compact and not easy to fall off after inserting the sound card, and can only be inserted into the PCIe X1 board.

The open type can be inserted into X4 network card or X16 graphics card, which is more flexible in use.

If the open female socket is inserted incorrectly, the equipment will be burnt. Please choose the closed female socket to be safer.

Precautions for purchase:

1. Be sure to recognize the direction when plugging in, and don't plug it in reverse or wrong position to prevent burning of the equipment. When plugging in, first hold the socket of the device before plugging in, to avoid inserting the socket pins with excessive force. It is forbidden to bend or pull within 2cm of the welding place between the two ends of the wire and the circuit board.

2. Various motherboards and equipment signal drive capabilities are different, and our results are not guaranteed to be consistent with your test results. As long as the extension cable is connected, the signal will be lost.

3. The graphics card or motherboard is an electronic device. It will gradually age and oxidize. If you connect an extension cord, it will only become more unstable. Old devices are not supported. Devices older than 3 years are not supported.
