I am pleased to offer from my private collection this rare antique WWI era military pilot's Memento Mori solid 14k gold ring c1916.
The ring is made by the French master jeweller Carl-Faberge.

The ring has been awarded to an officer from 19th Fighter avio Detachment "Death or Glory" lieutenant Aleksey Kozakov for Bravery.
The ring comes from Kozakov's family estate.

The ring represent the official emblem of the 19th avio Detachement-a skull,bones,sword and propeller in the middle of the double headed eagle coat of arms.On the top is depicted XIX Roman number(for 19th Detachement).
The ring is hallmarked

Large mens size 11
6g heavy.
The ring is engraved in Cyrillic: "To lieutenant Kozakov".
