M40 Finnish conversion helmet size 64/57 for sale.

This helmet started as a Finnish M55 helmet. It did not have the extra holes in it for the liner so it has no patches or welds in the metal. Only imperfections are minor dents here and there that are pretty much unnoticeable. The helmet was gutted and Finnish paint completely removed by media blasting. Vent holes were checked to make sure they are the proper size unlike other Finnish helmets. Helmet was then textured and painted. Top of the line repro size 57 liner and chinstrap from Ukraine was then installed. All leather parts were conditioned to be supple and take the “new” look out of them a little. This is the perfect helmet for reenacting as the shell blows any repro out of the water and is far cheaper then a refurbished original. Ready to wear right out of the box a true reenactors dream.
