1852 $1 The Mechanics and Traders Bank note from Georgetown, D.C.

This bank operated from 1852 until about 1855. 

This note features a Vignette of a bare-breasted allegorical figure floating through the clouds with a federal eagle and a shield. 

This note grades Extremely Fine with a small ink burn spot on the bottom left and minor mounting stains on the reverse top edge.
