For sale is a HP DVD1040 internal DVD drive/writer. It supports CD-R/RW and DVD+-R/RW. Reading/writing speeds varies depending on media. It also supports Light scribe labeling technology.

It was fully functional when pulled from a working desktop, but has been in storage for years. The drive seems clean and the internal mechanism seems intact.

Please notice that it is an IDE drive suitable for older systems or retro builds. An IDE cable is included.
