During the late Victorian era, Tiffany became quite inventive with their designs. Their Vine, Lap-Over-Edge, and Olympian patterns stand out. They became even more inventive with their non-line patterns. There are literally dozens of designs to be found in their small serving pieces. This bonbon spoon is quite elaborate. It features a partially nude winged woman. Above her is a basket of fruit resting on a pedestal. I do not think it is part of her headdress. I had thought she might be Isis, but she is not usually depicted this way. The condition is excellent. The spoon is approximately 5 1/4" long and weighs 51.1 grams. All the original vermeil is intact. There is no monogram. This is one of the rarer examples of their bonbon spoons.
