1) Alignment of bulkheads
To ensure the bulkheads are perfectly aligned in the car, make sure these move freely on the chassis, then tighten the straight plate at the top, tighten all the bottom screws and remove the straight plate once finished are. You can do this whether you are building a new kit or are in the process of taking one apart. Just make sure that the lower frames sit "loosely" on the chassis.
2) lag values
Before tightening the upper frames, simply attach the appropriate gauge to the front or back (toward the center), gently push the upper frame into the center of the vehicle and tighten!
3) Tweak Stick
You can also use it as a tweak stick, often used to tighten up your top decks and ensure everything is as perfectly aligned as you desire.
You can adjust the caster even further than the settings the tool gives you if you want to try that out. For example, you can set the rear 2 degrees or 5 degrees (or even more) and the front 3 or 6 degrees - the upper bulkhead movement allows this. Remember that wheelbase, bumpsteer/toe gain will be affected.
