The interlocking pieces are made of sturdy cardboard and showcase a B&W depiction of the Superstars from years ago. The puzzle was produced in the United Kingdom by Robert Frederick LTD and is a must-have for Elvis / Tom Jones fans. All my puzzles that are assembled have been preserved on cardboard with window film covering and double sided tape on the backside of the cardboard thereby keeping the pieces intact and protected.
