Taylor 214ce-Koa DLX 2013 (2013)

Taylor guitars have rapidly grown into one of the three major acoustic guitar brands, along with Martin and Gibson. Due to its ease of use, it has been used by many professional musicians, and its popularity in Japan has remained constant. This time, in the Taylor guitar lineup, we will introduce the 214ce-Koa-DLX, a deluxe series that is an upgraded version of the relatively affordable 200 series. This is an authentic electric acoustic guitar equipped with Taylor's proud expression system!

Solid Sitka spruce TOP, layered Hawaiian core SIDE & BACK, Sapele NECK, ebony fingerboard & bridge, measured 43.4mm nut, 25.5 inch scale Grand Auditorium cutaway body. The body shape is Taylor's most popular GA style, and the PU is ES1, making it a great value model that has exactly what you want! Another feature of this deluxe series is that the nut width is slimmer than 44.5mm. The point that it is. The catalog spec says 1 11/16 inches (42.9mm), but the actual measurement is about 43.4mm. Taylor's easy-to-play neck shape has been made slightly slimmer, resulting in a neck with outstanding playability that will appeal to everyone!

The raw sound is a Taylor-like honest sound without any sarcasm! While it is a Taylor-like clear and undisturbed sound, it also has the lightness and mildness of a core body sound, which is slightly better than the typical Taylor sound. It gives a mild and plump impression. It produces a flat, full-range sound from high to low, so I think it's a versatile sound that can be used regardless of genre or playing style, from flat picks to finger picks and solos. When plugged in, Taylor's proud ES1 pickup system produces a clear yet airy sound, so it's sure to be useful for live performances and recording!

The condition of the instrument is fair and beautiful with few scratches! Although there are few scratches, there is a soft, hazy cloud of paint on the entire side and back of the body. Looking at other companies' websites, it seems that this model, SIDE & BACK, tends to become cloudy. This individual also has a tendency to become cloudy towards the SIDE & BACK, but it looks vaguely cloudy overall, so unlike general cloudiness, I don't think it's that noticeable. The coloring is similar to the creme brûlée that was released in the past by Canadian Seagull or Simon & Patrick, and when you get used to it, you think it's quite unique and cool. What do you think? The top and There is no clouding on the neck or head, so I don't think it will bother you if you don't mind it. There are some picking marks around the PG and 4 to 5 very small dents, but overall, I think it can be said to be in good condition with almost no noticeable scratches.

The neck condition is good and generally straight, and the current string height is about 2.5mm on the 6th string and 2.0mm on the 1st string above the 12th fret, which is the best setting. The saddle is also a little more OK, so you can further fine-tune the string height. You can see a slight reduction in the frets on the low frets, but even at the point where the reduction is the most, about 90% of the original height remains, so you can still use it with confidence.

This is a highly versatile piece that can be used for home playing, recording, and live gear! Recommended for people with small hands and female players as well!

Comes with original gig bag
