WW2 Polish pilot wings on mounted panel.

The wings have no markings on the back and have been cast in white metal, using 1933 model wings as a pattern. This was a common method of producing these wings in the UK during the early stages of the war, before more professionally made wings began to be produced from 1942. The 1942 model wings have slightly different features to the 1933 type.

A small part of the chain is left, however most of it is missing. The rear has been fitted with a threaded stud, but the nut is missing.

The wings have been mounted on a wooden board painted with the Polish Air Force Roundel, but can be removed very easily.
