Fender Japan Telecaster w/ Monty's Retro Wind Telecaster Raw Nickel Set

Fender Japan Telecaster w/ Monty;s Retro Wind Telecaster Raw Nickel Set

Fender Japan's "Fender Japan Telecaster w/ Monty;s Retro Wind", which has been customized with a significantly upgraded hardware such as pickups, is now in stock!

This is a Telecaster with the J serial "Made in Japan" notation, and was manufactured and assembled by Fujigen from 1989 to 1990.
Because it is manufactured in Japan, it maintains stable quality and high cost performance, while providing modern performance performance that can be adapted to a variety of styles.

The classic wood material uses a maple neck with a thick grip, the fingerboard is maple 21F, and the controls are simple with 1VOL / 1TONE.

Then, the pickup has been replaced from the original pickup to "Monty's Retro Wind Telecaster Raw Nickel Set", and the selector, pot (CTS 1 MΩ), and capacitor have also been upgraded!!

High-quality hand-wound pickups that have gained support from many professional guitarists such as The Who's Pete Townshend, Radiohead's Ed O'Brien, Mark Knopfler, and session guitarist Tim Pierce. A highly recommended product from Monty;s Guitars in the UK.

"Monty;s Retro Wind Telecaster Raw Nickel Set" is a pickup for the Telecaster that is truly "Retrowind", with a vintage nuance based on the 1968 Telecaster PU sound, but with a modern brush up.

It has the twang feel of a Telecaster from the late 1960s, a bright and punchy sound image, and a slightly open sound!!
As with the specifications of the pickup at the time, potting is applied only partially, so there is no wax in the center of the coil, allowing for a clearer and more responsive sound.

This is a vintage-style pickup that will make you want to not only play clean tones with a tweed or brown-faced Fender amp, but also push the volume to create crunch to overdrive.

Please take this opportunity to try out the upgraded Fender Japan that only sells new and authorized Monty's Pickups in stores.

*Please note that the removed PU is not included.

[Accessories] Fender leather soft shell case (not genuine)

[Appearance/Condition] In addition to dullness of parts, there are some signs of use such as scratches and dents. There was a chip on the 15F fingerboard due to a dent, but it did not affect performance.
Due to the pickup change, we are making wiring changes and parts processing (changed the control plate hole to inch size, etc.).

[Truss rod] OK
[Frets] Approximately 70%~ (low fret side slightly reduced)
[Neck] Straight
[Nut width] Approx. 42mm
