Elliotts of Newbury Chair as seen in photo.  As stated below there is some age related wear but the chair is sturdy and in good enough condition to be used as is. A small amount of tlc and it could be 'perfect'

Just a couple of notes:

It looks like it has had an extra coat of varnish at some point as there are some drips in the varnish, so you might want a sand down to restore to original wood finish as it looks a little darker than others I've seen on the web. The drips are under the seat so not immediately obvious - photo 6.

The padding under the leatherette has worn out so the screw in the frame can be felt through the leatherette - photo 5.

One of the joints is not fully tight, but the chair is solid and there is no movement in the joint - photo 7.

As you can see from the photos, leatherette is a strange in-between colour and has photographed very differently depending on the angle and shift in light. I'm happy to send more photos if needed.
