Common failure part due to the small size and people turning up the volume too high at all times.
This is a very hard part to find!!! Not even Uniden will supply this very hard to find replacement part!! They will require you to ship your scanner in to them and wait for weeks and pay a very high repair bill.
You can order this exact replacement speaker and replace it yourself and simply solder the two speaker wires on. (See photos)
