The SRH3500 hand-helds are the smallest, lightest, rugged hand-held radios available in the market today. Designed and built to meet IEC529 IP54 standards, they withstand day to day use in some of the harshest environments in the public safety, military, transport, and utilities markets. The SRH3500 hand-helds offer a large viewable display area of 6 lines of 24 characters. The greyscale screen can display 16 shades of grey. These shades give a resolution that will allow the user to display maps and photographs. The SRH3500 range, like all Sepura hand-helds, has a unique feature: all text can be displayed in large format (double normal size) to give better legibility, whether body worn or in a car kit. The battery fitting is both secure and robust, yet it is made so straightforward that, without having to look at the radio, the battery can be changed with one hand. To allow users to continue immediately with their operations, the hand-helds return to their previous state after the battery change without the need to enter a start-up routine.
The User Interface (UI) of the SRH3500 range is common to the Sepura product portfolio, thus reducing training requirements. It has been specifically designed for TETRA and enables the user to quickly access the features of the radio.
