Here we have a nice Genuine Quite Large Oil Painting on Canvas, made in England in the second half of the 20th Century.

Elegant Artwork depicting a Countryside Landscape with some Birch Trees under a Crepuscular Cloudy Sky.

Executed with quick and sometimes generous brush strokes in a striking Impressionist Style.

Initialled AR in the lower left corner.

At the back it is inscribed :

“BIRCH TREES IN THE SOUTH DOWNS“ and “PETWORTH 71“

It comes as found in a Elegant Gilt Wood Frame.

Marks and scuffs here and there.

Ready to hang.

Will do a stunning feature on the wall.
