The Jøtul 1is one of Jøtul's timeless cast iron wood burning stoves and has been a bestselling wood stove for many years.

The Jøtul 1 has been standing steady on its little feet in Norwegian and international homes for generations and is expected to bring happiness to many future generations as well. The stove boasts a large combustion chamber that can cater logs up to 40 cm. Loading is easy thanks to the single handled fully retractable door.

Sold as seen. Please see all photos. This stove has been thoroughly cleaned and repainted. The stove has been completely re-painted with HotSpot heat resistant to 600 degrees black matt finish paint. Please note that the stove will smoke up on its first few light ups as the paint cures to the stove.

The stove has had all of its rope seals replaced - door, blanking plate and flue spigot. The stove has been fitted with a brand-new replacement steel base plate.

Fully fitted with original Jotul cast iron log stopper. The stove has been fitted with a brand new replacement 8mm gauge steel top baffle plate. The stove has its original fire bricks still in position as they are in good condition and will continue to provide protection for the stove for years to come.

This is a practical wood stove with both personality and character. It is easy to install into an existing hearth, chimney or alcove and is exceptionally heat efficient.
