GLOW IN THE DARK Fanatec 10mm Stickers for Various Simulator Wheel/Button Box
Sim Stickers make custom sticker sheets for use with simulator and rig button
boxes, hand controllers, wheels, keyboards, flight sticks and more. Each
sticker sheet is printed using high quality ink providing an excellent solid
colour. Each sticker is cut to shape so all you have to do is peel and stick.
These
stickers are perfect for labelling wheels and button boxes for various
simulators. They can work with various wheels and button boxes including
Fanatec.
These glow in the dark stickers are a cream colour under natural light / standard room lighting, but they really come alive with a green/yellow glow when charged with the appropriate lighting (see below).
GLOW IN THE DARK STICKERS
Our glow in the dark range of stickers are a great way of adding some extra spark to your rig in the dark. These stickers must be subject to one of the following light sources to charge the glow in the dark phosphors.
- UV (Ultraviolet) Light – Approximate Charge Time:
Less than 5 Minutes
- Natural Daylight / Direct Sunlight – Approximate
Charge Time: 5 to 10 Minutes
- Fluorescent Light - Approximate Charge Time: 20 to
30 Minutes
- Incandescent Light (Filament) - Approximate Charge
Time: 20 to 40 Minutes
Please note these charge times
are given as a guide only and different light sources have their own intensity
and emit varying amounts of light providing a different charge. Any
obstructions between the light and the stickers will hinder the light being
absorbed by the stickers during charging.
Standard LED lights are not
generally as effective at charging glow in the dark items as the lighting
stated above due to the extended time needed to produce the light needed to
charge. It is recommended to use the above lighting options with the glow in
the dark stickers.
The stickers will only display
the glow in the dark properties when the area is dark (no natural or artificial
lighting except a UV light). Once charged the stickers will glow at maximum
intensity for between 5 and 30 minutes depending on the length of charging time.
The strength of the glow will begin to fade as the charge decreases. The
stickers may continue to glow at low light for over an hour. To maintain the
glow in the dark effect we recommend using a UV light in the dark or recharging
the stickers using the lighting stated above.
The vibrancy of the glow in the dark colour is dependent on the strength of the charge and how dark the area they are placed in is. For example if your monitor screen is bright or you use bright lighting this will affect the glow effect in which case the stickers will just show the standard ambient light colour which is a light cream/off white colour.
These stickers are made to be used in dark areas as they are GLOW IN THE DARK. They are NOT fluorescent or reflective. If you requre bright stickers, please look at our fluorescent sticker range.
