Being offered for sale today is a pair of "FAKE" Side Exhaust Pipes with Covers

These are Vintage Custom parts from the 60's

From my research I have not been able to learn who the manufacturer was, but I did learn that George Barris used these Side Pipes on some of his Custom Cars. The most well known Custom being the 1967 SXB Barracuda (see 2nd to last photo)

Each Side is made up of 3 Cast Aluminum pieces: the Front Pipe, Finned Cover and the Rear Exiting Pipe

The Side Exhaust Pipes measure 60 1/2” overall length and the Covers are 4 3/8” tall

The Finned Center Sections are painted a Dull Cast Aluminum and the 2 End Pipes have been painted a Chrome Silver

Both Sides are in excellent used condition. A few of the Covers Raised Fins have some nicks and light bends, nothing major - just wanted to mention this - shown in photo's
