Uses standard Ethernet cable (out)  and phone line ( DSL in)    Cables not included.

I've used this model for many years with no problems and more than enough speed for multi-device computer tasks,

using Frontier DSL service  to provide Wi-Fi for home or small office.  New units on amazon retail for $150-$190

NOTE:  When  first plugged into a system, you may have to go into the online Netgear setup application to get things set properly for your network.   Home Wi-Fi networks have many different configurations and  I am not a technical person so I would not be able to assist with setup.
