Scandinavian 3D sterling silver brooch that appears to be made of continuous intricate loops coming from the center post.
Signed: JA (inside a shield) as well as Sterling and Denmark.
Weighs 13 grams
I am uncertain who the silversmith is who created this beauty.
Possible maker?: This JA mark (with no periods) is attributed to "Guldsmed Janni Nielsen - Copenhagen 2008-" in the Denmark Silver Makers directory. I can't find any other information about this person.
Possible Maker?: Some people identify this mark as Jens Asby. However, I see other marks attributed to him that have the J positioned over the A inside the shield.
Condition: Small bend in pin or placement of clasp requires the wearer to push down slightly to get the pin into the clasp. Pin has been polished with a dry silver cleaning cloth to bring out details. A small flat area can be seen under magnification on the round center section. See photos.
