Founded in 1921 by brothers Alf and Johan Lohne. Bought by Theodor Olsens Eftf in 2011
Vintage pair of Norwegian silver candlesticks with mark for Brodrene Lohne of Bergen and stamped "830S" which was the Norwegian silver mark up to approx 1920 when 925 began replacing it .
These candle sticks are a pair however one has a brown baize and the other a green baize fitted and there is more weight in the candle stick with brown baize due to additional weight of plaster added to it's base . They are in good condition however there is a small ding in the base of the candlestick with green baize showing in photograph 12 but not too obvious and may be easy to remove for silversmith ..Size is approx 13.5cms or 5 1/4" high with base approx 9cms x 9cms or approx 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" - weighing 241.5 grams or 8.5 oz. for candlestick with the brown baize and 123.3grams or 4.35oz. for candlestick with the green baize
