Ferrari N.A.R.T. Badge, (North American Racing Team) Cloisonné Enamel Badge.
The intricate cloisonné design makes it a great accessory for any Ferrari fan or collector.

The only other badge I have ever seen like it was on the rear panel of a 1967 Ferrari 275 GTS/4 NART Spider.
Purchased from Bill Rudd Motors Van Nuys, CA. a very long time ago.
This badge is so very similar in appearance to the traditional production Ferrari badges.
I don't know who manufactured it. Could it be AE Lorioli of Milano?

Cloisonné is an ancient technique for decorating metalwork objects with colored material held in place or separated by metal strips or wire, normally of gold. In recent centuries, vitreous enamel has been used, but inlays of cut gemstones, glass and other materials were also used during older periods; indeed, cloisonné enamel very probably began as an easier imitation of cloisonné work using gems. The resulting objects can also be called cloisonné.
