Condition: This listing is for a very hard to find Bucherer Super Compressor divers watch coming to you as found as shown for restoration or parts. The watch is extremely large and oversized for that time period and will work well with today's standards when it comes to size. It has the desirable blue dial that is original and in very good condition with all of it's original tritium indices, tritium filled hands and the tritium triangle on the inner bidirectional rotating bezel, showing no loss to the tritium applications. Everything is nice, evenly aged just the way you want to find them. It is powered by a 25 jewel automatic winding mechanical ETA 2638 movement that is also stamped RR just to the right of the ETA stamp. The watch is running and keeping time however, it is being sold as a non-running watch due to any unknown issues it may or may not have. Also, it is assumed the buyer will have it serviced prior to wearing on a regular basis to optimize its performance and to prevent any internal damage from running a dry watch. The day/date advance a little early but do advance properly. The mineral glass crystal has some light scratches and a "bullseye" swirl where it looks like it was semi-polished at one time to remove some deeper scratches, but not taken all the way down. It looks to be the original crystal as do the crowns. The case appears to have been lightly polished but does show some scratches throughout. It is stamped 2-69 and I assume that is when it was produced. The bracelet is obviously an aftermarket and a little too small for a proper fitment between the lugs but, it's wearable as it is. It will fit a 7.25" wrist maybe a 7.5" but will be snug and the adjustments are all the way out. It can go smaller, but its maxed for going larger. Don't miss this very hard to find model and it should take much to make it exceptional.
