Here we have a nice well kept & great condition vintage dirty dozen Omega watch. These are such beautiful watches and have so much history. This one is an excellent example.

The Dirty Dozen watches name is given to a group of 12 watches worn by those who actually fought in it – specifically, British soldiers. They were commissioned by the British Ministry of Defense (MoD) during World War II, and while they may not be as highly rated as other military watches when they are presented individually, as a set, they become some of the most collectible – specifically (but not exclusively), by British collectors.

This watch has a really nice looking black dial with numbered markers & the broadarrow in the centre. Such a great looking watch and despite its age it’s still in amazing shape!

The lume is bright,there’s also a few very minor little marks on the dial  The Crystal has a few light scratches nothing major with no cracks. Gives you a great view of the dial below!

The case is stainless steel and condition is great which can be seen from the pictures. It’s got some light scratching to the case but nothing major at all and is expected from a pre owned vintage watch, that was issued to British Military. With a proper clean it would come up even better, but in my opinion it is better left untouched.

It is estimated they made around 25,000 Omega’s of the dirty dozen, many wouldn’t have made it through the war & lots will be now damaged etc. This is a nice example!

The crown winds & works just as you’d expect with no problems at all. The crowns a nice size making it really easy to use!

This watch is a mechanical watch, this means it needs to be wound for it to work. Please know this when buying! It has a nice high quality movement which is in excellent condition as shown
