Lovely glazed stoneware pot/jug with short spout.  Hand decorated under the glaze with a mix of cross-hatch and freehand patterns.

A multi-colour brown glaze.  Approximately 4cm diameter at the rim, 7cm diameter at the base, 11cm diameter at the widest part of the body, and and 15cm tall.

No idea who the original potter for this piece is.  It's clearly a professionally hand-crafted piece.  It was part of a mixed lot of Cornish pottery that included pieces by Michael Leach (Yelland Pottery) and Seth Cardew (Wenford Bridge).  However, there is no visible potter's stamp anywhere that I can see.

Used for decoration only, not for drinks or daily use. No chips, cracks or nicks.  Any blemishes are from the original studio production.

I have other studio pottery listed, so please do check other items from the collection.
