Ron Anthony was an accomplished jazz guitarist who, in his career, worked with Stan Getz and played for Frank Sinatra. In his book he provides a comprehensive guide for the guitarist in how to effectively accompany singers and players of other instruments. It is wonderfully laid out making it easy to follow, too

The book is VERY scare and hard to get hold of, making it a great addition for any guitarist studying jazz, or for any guitarist who wants to improve their knowledge in this genre of music. Please note, however, it doesn't include the supplementary record. Overall, it's a excellent item and will make a great study aid for hours of practise
