Cautions

  • Clean and dry the towing strap after use; dirt and moisture weaken the moving strap.
  • Before attempting a vehicle recovery, all passengers must exit the vehicle and stand as far away as possible.
  • It is recommended that the breaking strength of the pull strap should be between 2 to 3 times gross vehicle mass (GVM).(The total weight of the stuck vehicle does not exceed 17500 pounds)
  • Make three rescue attempts, pulling the vehicle to slowly accelerate to approximately 6-8 mph. Once the rescue rope is under tension, the stuck vehicle should be in a low gear to apply acceleration and the vehicle tires should be rotated slowly, but not excessively, to ensure safety.
