Texas Instruments SR-40 LED Electronic Calculator - Tested snd work well.

Item for sale is a vintage TI SR-40 calculator. Made in the late 1970s. This model is in the collection of the Smithsonian Institute Museum of American History. Made by Texas Instruments in the USA. Calculator has been tested with a 9-volt battery and is working. In good condition overall with some signs of use. Please see all pictures.

Note: This model originally used a rechargeable battery. The original battery no longer worked and has been removed.In order to use the calculator you must connect a 9 volt instead. The 9 volt battery will not fit inside the unit if the case
