KING SNAKE Smith Black King Snake is a guitar brand with a dirty, full-acoustic concept. The inside of the body is covered with 15mm thick spruce material at the back of the bridge (width 80mm length 70mm) to reproduce the King Snake's unique sustain and attack. The body top and back structure uses 3.5mm thick maple/spruce/maple 3-ply laminate material, making it a full acoustic guitar with a quick response. The pickup is based on the vintage P-90, but the neck pickup is hand wired with fewer wire turns, looser tension, and uses alnico 2 magnets. The bridge pickup uses Alnico 4, and is wound to loosen the tension and use a slightly larger number of wire turns than the neck. Wax potted to prevent howling. The wood conduits are finished with an ultra-thin nitrocellulose lacquer that makes them stand out, allowing you to feel the sound of the wood itself.
