Vintage 1950s or 60s AUSTIN motor car grill badge & steering wheel badge
These have been looked after carefully by my family for decades since the badges were removed from his late 1950s or early 1960s Austin by my father.
They are in very good condition for their age with only minor blemishes, as may be seen clearly in our photographs of the actual badges (they are not mere stock photos).
The badges are certainly in better condition than any others of their kind i have seen.
The circular one is, i believe, the steering wheel badge with a total approximate diameter of 62 mm. It has three small flattened sections on the outer edge, presumably where it was fitted to the centre of the steering wheel. Its maximum depth appears to be approximately 10 mm.
The other beautifully shaped badge is, i believe, for the front grill of the Austin.
Its longest length is approximately 74 mm and its widest width is approximately 42 mm. On the reverse it bears an embossed "LUCAS 2".

I package my items securely in mostly recycled material and always package & post them personally via a carrier of my choice.
