Nice Clean Restored Gemtronics GTX-5000 40 Channel CB radio with Superstar mic from my vast collection vintage tube radios. This radio has 40 factory channels installed. Radio transmits and receives on all 40 channels. Receiver sensitivity is to spec and transmitter output is about 3.5 watts dead-key with nice forward swing to 10 plus watts PEP and good crisp audio. Radio works best with a Turner amplified mic! All channels are within spec for transmit and receive function. All film and electrolytic capacitors have been replaced along with several other parts to restore operation. Weak or shorted tubes have also been replaced. Has minor scuffs and scratches due to aging and wear since 1974. Includes as shown radio, new Superstar mic, and original power cord. Good operational tube unit to work stations using a nostalgic radio from the past! I worked a few DX stations barefoot with good reports! This unit is sold for parts not working due to age and delicate vintage electronics from 1974. No returns, refunds, no exceptions due to people who swap parts and try to scam the seller.
