MOTHER + DAUGHTER HOLDING CASED IMAGE, PURSE, AND BOOK, 1/6 PLATE DAGUERREOTYPE. This 1/6 plate daguerreotype is of a young mother (or perhaps older sister?) and an 8- to 9-year-old girl. They are holding what looks like a small book, a cased photo image, and a small purse. There is gold tinting to the case cover and brooch. There are no wipe marks, but there is one very light scratch to the left of mom's head. The image has been resealed and is in a full case.
