The Dead Zone
This is a brand new with slipcase Easton Press 1st printing leather-bound hardback of The Dead Zone by Stephen King. Rarely can you tell if an Easton Press edition is a 1st printing because they do not designate printings on the publisher page. Sometimes, however, they have a different cover for these and this is one of them. In pictures 4 and 5 I illustrated the difference on the spine. The title and the authors name have a full square around them and targets were larger on the 1st print. Johnny Smith awakens from a five-year coma after his car accident and discovers that he can see people’s futures and pasts when he touches them. Many consider his talent a gift; Johnny feels cursed. His fiancée married another man during his coma and people clamor for him to solve their problems.
