One Vintage Late 1940s -Early 1950's Brown Wool Skirt Suit
This fitted suit is soft flannel wool (likely Lorraine Flannel, a 100% virgin worsted wool). The partially-lined skirt is the patented drum shape-retaining construction with a side metal zipper, button, and back walking pleat. The skirt has wide seams if adjusting is needed. The jacket is fully lined with a fold-over collar, 2 small pockets, fold-over cuffs, shoulder pads and a fan-shaped double-button closure at the waist. The fit is for a junior or petite size woman.
