Established in 1966 and administered by the New York State Council on the Arts, the Award honors individuals and organizations whose work has enhanced the physical beauty and artistic life of New York State. The Rensselaer County Junior Museum was cited for "its highly imaginative approach to children's programming, and for the preservation of a landmark firehouse as its headquarters."Photo measures 8 x 9.75inches.
