Obverse: Crowned Luxemburgish shield with a lion with a forked tail, rampant to the left on a field of ten pieces, surrounded by the legend between an inner circle and an external girdle and a star flanked by the engraver's name and privy marks at the bottom

Reverse : Crown of laurel branches and oak surrounding the face value and the mint year in three lines and the name of the engraver surmounted by the mintmark outside of the pearled circle at the bottom
