For auction avintage Philips EL 3570 / 10 reel-to-reel tape recorder!

Serial number 862!

Based on the info that I could find about this recorder it looks like it was built in 1952!! It was the first Philips domestic machine...

I've got it from an old local storage facility where they kept some audio/video equipment from local radio/TV stations and where doing a 'clean-up'...:)....I have NOT pluged it into the mains (and powered on) as due to its age I guess somebody, with more knowladge than me, should first open and clean it up and check for any components that after 70(!) years should probably need to be replaced!

As seen on the attached pictures it looks more or less complete (it still even has the original red Philips tag!) with some bumps on the external case (it was 'portable'...:)...).

Don't know much else about this unit....all leather parts still look original!
