Versatile use
The IB-525-U3 is an external enclosure for 5.25" SATA drives or hard drive mobile racks. Whether you want to use a DVD, Blu-ray or an old CD drive, these devices will find a new home in this sleek, black aluminium enclosure. Even internal mobile racks can now be used externally. With USB 3.2 Gen 1, a data transfer rate of up to 5 Gbit/s is available, which can be established via a USB Type-C or Type-A connection to the host computer.
For standard DVD or Blu-ray drives
You still have a drive available from your old desktop PC? Or a standard DVD or Blu-ray drive? That's great, because you can now simply use them externally by inserting the drive into the IB-525-U3.
Flexible use
Not only standard DVD or Blu-ray drives can now be used externally with the IB-525-U3, but the functional case can also be used to accommodate mobile racks in 5.25" format. This means that one or the other piece of hardware can be brought back to life.
