This Austin Mini Mk2 Countryman (Woody) Estate DMB 524F was first registered 11th April 1968. How many left show only 100 Mini Countryman's are left so a rare care indeed. At 56 years old it is both Road Tax and MOT exempt but still carries an MOT till 27/09/2024. Over the last 3 years the car has had a comprehensive restoration from top to bottom including a complete new floorpan, wings, A frames, door skins, professional repaint, new countryman wood sections and a complete new interior. It has had new carpets, door inserts, seat covers, headlining, sun visors, inertia seat belts and much more. The rear seats fold down to make it in to a very useful little estate car or dog carrier. The underside is as good as the top side as you can see in the pictures. The boot area is immaculate and the underfloor compartment holds the spare wheel and tools etc. The engine bay is also spot on and the 998cc engine, clutch and 4 speed gearbox run very well and show 70lb of oil pressure. It drives really well. All the chrome is very good on the wing mirrors, bumpers, grille etc. The wheels are period correct 3.5J steel fitted with new tyres. This is now a rare car to see and will always draw a crowd of admirers'. It is in fantastic condition in body, paint, underside and mechanicals.  There are cars out there for £20k that are not a patch on this one making it something of a bargain.
