The Jøtul Betha is one of Jøtul's timeless cast iron wood burning stoves and has been a bestselling wood stove for many years.

The Jøtul Betha has been standing steady on its large plinth in Norwegian and international homes for generations and is expected to bring happiness to many future generations as well.

Sold as seen. Please see all photos. This stove has been thoroughly cleaned and has had all of its external non-enamelled surfaces re-painted with HotSpot heat resistant to 600 degrees black matt finish paint.

This stove boasts a large combustion chamber that can cater logs up to 40cm in length and the burning logs can be viewed via the large glass fronted door. The plinth originally housed a kerosene burner, this has been removed and the cavity can now be used to store and dry logs.

The stove has had all of its rope seals replaced - door, blanking plate and flue spigot.

This stove is fully fitted with all its original Jotul cast iron internal burn plates. Including base plate, side plates, top baffle plate and log stopper.

Please note that this stove has a hairline crack running from the flue spigot cavity. The crack has been drilled and filled with fireproof cemented at its growing end to prevent it from travelling further. Please see photos.

This is a practical wood stove with both personality and character. It is easy to install into an existing hearth, chimney or alcove and is exceptionally heat efficient.
